Weddings on the Amalfi Coast are just magical and Positano is the perfect location for an unforgettable wedding event. So it was the Positano wedding of Joe and Danielle at Rada rooftop restaurant.
This gorgeous couple from England got married with a civil ceremony in the small-town hall of Positano on June 26 2023 . Danielle’s sister and her husband were married in Sorrento in 2019 and Flowers and Confetti Wedding Planner organized their Sorrento wedding so when her sister decided to get married in Italy, we were recommended to plan her wedding and this was a great pleasure for us.
The bride and her bridal party got ready in Sorrento, there were 65 guests attending to the wedding and we organised transportation to take all the guests from Sorrento to Positano.
The ceremony at the town hall was setup on the intimate outdoor terrace overlooking the colourful village of Positano, perched on the cliff atop the sea. The color palette of this wedding was mainly white with hints of pale pink shades and the bridesmaids’ dresses in blush pink were perfectly combined with the pastel tones of flowers.The flower archway and white runner on the isle created a romantic and sophisticated layout and they emphasized the light blue and pale pink colors of the Majolica altar desk and the turquoise waters of the Amalfi Coast sea in the backdrop.
After the beautiful ceremony at the town hall, the guests enjoyed a walk through the narrow streets of Positano to reach the reception venue, Rada restaurant located right on the beach of Positano. They were welcomed in the impressive cave with a cocktail and canapés and then moved to the terraces upstairs, reserved in exclusive use for the event, where the sit down dinner was taking place. A refined Mediterranean white and blue ambience, the tables were decorated with elegant gold trays, filled with white and pink roses and peonies and mini bottles of Limoncello were placed on the tables as favors . The couple chose an elegant style welcome sign and table plan in pastel tones. A stylish note was added to every single detail.
A very personal touch to the decor was given by the “Mr and Mrs” Napoli official T- shirts that the bride and groom incorporated to the table decorations, to celebrate Napoli champions of Italy 2023.
The sound of sax, piano / voice and guitar made the sit down dinner so delightful and DJ music ended the dancing part of the event ,with Positano vanishing in the back.
