A beautiful couple from Orlando – Florida, passionate of Italy and its wonderful sites, who cared about spending quality time with their closets family and friends who travelled from UK and USA. We had the enormous pleasure to meet Roshni & Bill and to organize their wedding in Sorrento on June 2 2023. Roshni, the bride was born in UK from an Indian family and on her wedding day, she incorporated some touches of her Indian culture, in her wedding jewellery and bridal accessories. She also had a stunning henna tattoo designed on her arm which was absolutely divine. They fell in love with the Amalfi Coast and they chose Relais Blu on the Sorrento Coast as the perfect setting fro their Wedding Day. They visited Sorrento last summer to meet their wedding planner and inspect the venue, where the civil ceremony and wedding reception were held. Relais Blu is a charming bouquet hotel right away from the town of Sorrento, with amazing views of Capri . The roof top terrace over the sea, facing the Faraglioni rocks offered the ideal setting for an intimate wedding of 20 guests.
The week started with a welcome Pizza party in the garden of the villa they rented in Massa Lubrense, a spacious villa with nice sea view that accommodated all the family. A private chef cooked pizzas in the stone oven in the courtyard and they also had a cooking class, learning how to make pasta, bread and pizza and they had a lot of fun. A live duo piano and voice played during the pizza party and added a local flavour to the party with the notes of classic Neapolitan music.
On Friday the wedding day started at early afternoon with the bridal preparation at Relais Blu and by late afternoon ,the terrace was setup with white chiavari chairs , a beautiful flower arch display and an imperial table, decorated with a long runner of blush pink and white flowers and candles that created an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere for the evening reception. The celebrations started with the bride walk down the isle, introduced by the soft jazz music of a sax and guitar duo.
At sunset, the bride and groom did not miss the chance to take photos by the infinity pool and some incredible shots were taken by the amazing photographer who captured the orange and pink lights and the blue light that anticipated the evening. The ceremony and sit down meal took place on the same location as the bride and groom desired , on the roof top overlooking Capri , suspended between the sky and the sea. All the guests were impressed with the wonderful views and attention to details. The layout was dreamy and captured the bride vision. The dinner was followed by the cutting of the cake, the bride and groom and guests danced until midnight.
